Backstory is hiring a remote-based team. The founders' previous company, from its founding until its acquisition, was entirely distributed with teammates working across the US from Hawaii to North Carolina, and two teammates in Portugal and Greece.

The company has not raised a funding round, but plans to in the coming year.

High-level roadmap

The current focus is to refine the curating platform, especially with video curation, and to build out memory experiences. The Android version of Backstory will then follow.
